We, aislings of Temuair present you with a petition for the recognition of a "Pet Appreciation Day"
as a national celebration.

The observation of this event will raise awareness for all pets, tamers, breeders, and owners.

In anticipation of the conjunction of Glioca’s compassion with Cail’s harmony in Deoch 211 – the Year of Cail – Jean, Wizard of Loures, formally requests the Suomi Troupe to hold a Pet Appreciation Festival. Come and join us for a moon full of fun, games, and prizes as we celebrate the special bond with our pets and our interconnectedness with all life!

Below, you will find the full schedule and description of each competition. Remember that bringing your pet is a requirement for most activities. No other prep is required, although we strongly recommend organizing your wardrobe in advance of the pet fashion show!

◀▶Pet Tamer’s Lore◀▶

Learn about the inspiration behind the festival. This kick-off event will feature a lecture and class competition dedicated to Lady ReyaKeely's inspirational work on pet taming. More details will be provided in class. Don’t miss out!

◀▶Temuair Pet Battles◀▶

Come one, come all! All pets and their partners are invited to participate in Temuair Pet Battles! The rules are simple: pets will convince their partners to show up at (location to be determined). Then, they will use their opposable thumbs to fill out entrant paperwork. Then, with the help of my master, a witch of considerable acclaim, we will empower the pets of Temuair to do battle with each other. The first pet to dodge 3 attacks from their opponent wins.

(( This is a game of chance rather than a game of skill; victory will be determined by the RNG of the spells ‘missing’ the target pets.

How Temuair Pet Battles work:

1. Entrants will be placed into a tournament bracket.
2. If there is an odd number of combatants, seeding will be determined by an initial “battle royale” round.
3. The pets will meet in the middle of a dueling ring and face each other.
4. The pet’s partners will each call out a single attack (the attack can be whatever you want; i.e., tackle, flamethrower, gust).
5. Event Host Ulli will choose a wizard ard spell that closest resembles the called-out attacks and will cast it on the corresponding pet.
6. If the pet dodges the spell (displays the “MISS” animation above its head), the pet will gain a point.
7. The first pet to dodge 3 spells wins the battle!
8. If both pets reach 3 points in the same round, additional rounds will be held until one has more dodges than the other.
9. Winners will continue onward in the tournament until there is one clear winner. ))

Be the first to guide your summonable pet through a meandering maze, avoiding as many collisions as possible. The higher you finish, the better the prize! More details will be provided at the event.

◀▶Pet Fashion Show◀▶

Think you have what it takes to show off the strong bond with your pet? Come and prove it at the Suomi Troupe Fashion Show! Dress yourself up to show how compatible you and your pet are.

There will be several categories that you can choose from. Aislings will only be allowed to enter one category. Participants will need to declare themselves and which category they wish to participate in at the start of the event. Winners will be decided by a panel of judges. One winner will be selected from each category. Come and show your love for your pet!

Use the clothing and accessories you have collected from the world and beyond ((kruna store optional)) to best match the look of your pet.

Best Matching without Mundane help
Use the clothing and accessories you have collected from the world ((kruna store forbidden)) to best match the look of your pet.

Best Mismatching
Don't like your pet, or think you two are opposites? Then show off your divergent looks by dressing to the best of your ability in contrast to your pet.
