Greetings Aislings!

As we eagerly anticipate an important milestone anniversary of aisling history, the Suomi Troupe is thrilled to host the Heritage Fair! Take a trip down memory lane for an entire double-moon packed with classic fair games, College classes, and prizes galore! Classes will cover folklore, cultural traditions, the arcane arts, and more. During this special occasion, the Mileth Fair will be open to the public. Please read further below for the schedule of events and classes.

(( This is a Suomi Troupe event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dark Ages, which is officially August 2, 2024. The Heritage Fair will run from August 5 to 11. We hope to see you there! ))

Jousting Tournament

Ready your mount and don your armor for the Heritage jousting tournament! No prep is required, but do not forget to bring your favorite mount! Hop on your noble red steed, rugged rock cobbler, or plodding penguin as you charge head-on in battle for treasure and glory. (( Note: this is not a PVP event. Jousting is a rock, paper, scissors style game. ))

Heritage Storytime

Gentleaislings,

Do you have a memory that brings a smile to your face, makes you tingle with excitement, or fills you with embarrassment? Celebrate our heritage by bringing your most cherished recollections from Temuair and Medenia to Storytime, hosted by the Suomi Troupe and the Mileth College Literature department. Afterwards, we will explore our community's current expectations and hopes for the future.

Pirate Mafia

The town of Oren is overrun with pirates! Join the troupe in helping out the disguised pirates before they assassinate the townsfolk! Flex your social deduction and manipulation skills by either voting out potential pirates, or assassinating Aislings in the dead of night, in the game of Mafia!

(( Mafia is a social deduction game where players are secretly assigned roles as either Mafia members (Pirates) or Innocents (Aislings). The Mafia's goal is to eliminate the Innocents, while the Innocents aim to identify and eliminate the Mafia. Players discuss and vote during the day to eliminate suspects, and the mafia eliminates one player during the night. The game alternates between night and day phases until one faction wins. Depending on turnout, there may be special Innocents, such as the Priest- which can, during the night phase, protect a single player from the mafia for a round- or the Guard- which can, during the night phase, ask the host what role another single player has been assigned. ))

Heritage Fashion Show

You'll want to reach deep into your wardrobe for this fashion show competition! Come showcase your best heritage-inspired attire on stage. Among other criteria, judges will pay close attention to the period appropriateness and any historical significance of your fashion choice. Whether you're a history enthusiast, fashion aficionado, or just curious about aisling fashion of yesteryear, we invite you to witness history come alive on the runway!

Elements Unchained

Rumors are spreading about repair crews uncovering a cache of ancient spherical objects while digging under the walls of Loures Castle. Scholars from the Loures Library were reportedly so disturbed by the discovery that they fled across Temuair, hiding the objects along the way.

Although Loures has denied all knowledge of the incident, we have learned that representatives from the Necromancer and Druid Orders will be present at the Mileth Fairgrounds during the Heritage Festival. They seek aisling assistance in recovering these mysterious objects and offer great rewards to those who succeed.

(( Join us to uncover the mystery of these ancient objects. Participants will choose one of three paths for the event:

* Strength (combat-focused)
* Grace (exploration-focused)
* Wisdom (focused on DA game lore and history)

Each path will have one winner, who will receive a unique legend mark.

During the event, participants might also find the ancient spherical objects themselves. These can be turned in separately to factions at the Heritage Festival for additional rewards.
